Hi Katie,
Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney with your question!
Reaching the stage of Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning when you can make your
Disney Theme Park Reservations starts to make everything real, right? Can you almost smell the popcorn as you stroll into
Magic Kingdom Park? Hear the music welcoming you to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park? Look to your right! You can almost see the
Hollywood Tower Hotel at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. (I hear the elevators are a little funky sometimes!) Let's see if we can solve your technology problem and get you back to daydreaming, eh?
In the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, select the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner. Scroll down to "Profile" and select "Family & Friends List." Do you see her name on the list? If so, click it and be sure that you have selected to share "All My Plans." (You can change this back to "Only Plans We Share" in the future.
If your pal isn't yet listed, scroll to the bottom of the list and select "Add a Guest." The easiest way to connect if you are with your friend in person is to "Scan their linking code." To do this, ask her to open her My Disney Experience Mobile App, go to "My Profile" and then select "Show my linking code." Simply use the camera on your phone to scan that QR code, and you should be connected!
Need to connect from afar? No problem! You can also search through connected Guests, or by entering her name and age.
Katie, if these steps don't have you back to reserving, planning, and dreaming, then I would recommend that you give the friendly Cast Members a call at the helpline. There might be something small on the back end that they can see to help you quickly and easily. You can find the
best phone number to call here, listed below My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+.
I hope that was helpful! Come back and visit us at planDisney with any other questions as you get closer and closer to riding under the magical archway to Walt Disney World Resort. We are here for you!
Adventure is out there,
Sally
