Hi there, Patience!
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing your question to us. How wonderful that you are planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort for you and two children! I love visiting the Parks in Spring as I think the Southern California weather is perfect at that time.
You may absolutely purchase two separate one-day tickets for one Park per day and use them consecutively! It sounds like this is the more cost-effective option since May 3 is considered
Tier 0 and May 4 is
Tier 2. Just keep in mind that if you later decide to change the dates of your visit, you may have to pay the difference in price for a higher Tier ticket. Also, be sure to make
reservations for your visit. One Park per day ticket guests have their own reservation pool and I currently see plenty of
availability.
I hope there are some Star Wars fans in your party, because you'll be visiting on May the 4th! Although specific plans have not yet been announced for this year, last year the
Disneyland Resort went all out (of this world) and beyond to celebrate our love of Star Wars! You'll also be visiting while the Parks are in the midst of a year-long
Disney100 Celebration, so there will be plenty to see and do during your trip. Take some time to visit the newly redesigned
Mickey's Toontown and take a ride aboard
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. I've experienced this attraction in Florida and it is so much fun!
Patience, I hope you found this useful. If you need any further help in planning your trip, please reach out to us again at planDisney! We'd be more than happy to assist you with any more details you might need.
Have a Magical Day!
