    I’m trying to renew my Magic Key right now (30 days before it expires) and it’s not letting me. When I enter my 18 digit Magic Key ID number, it cuts off at the 17th digit and won’t allow me to type the last number.

    Hi there, Aubree, and welcome to planDisney!

    It's always nice to see another Magic Key Passholder here and I hope that you've enjoyed having yours as much as I have mine. I've been a Keyholder ever since the program's inception and I've been very happy with how they're managing it. I love how we're made to feel special, with all kinds of offers and merchandise made specially for us!

    I'm sorry you're having some issues renewing your Magic Key. You're right in that the renewal window opens up 30 days before your Key's expiration date, but I've never had to manually type in my Magic Key number into a text field in order to renew, so I'm not sure where you've managed to navigate. My suggestion is to try this:

    1. Start at the Disneyland website, making sure that you are logged in to your account. 
    2. Under the various pull-down menus on the top banner, hover over "Magic Key" and select "Magic Key Pass Information" underneath that. 
    3. Scroll all the way down until you see the header "What's Next" and select the option to "Renew Magic Key Passes" underneath it. 
    4. On the next screen, you should see all the Magic Key Passes that are attached to your account. The ones that are eligible for renewal will have a checkbox next to it. Select the Pass you want to renew and confirm. You should then be taken to the confirmation screen to renew your pass, all without having to manually enter the Magic Key ID number!

    If you are still having issues despite these instructions, I would recommend calling a Cast Member at the Magic Key Guest Services phone line to have them help you out. We wouldn't want your Key to expire without a renewal! 

    Have you had a chance to check out the Magic Key Terrace yet? It's a dining venue made especially for Magic Keyholders located on the second floor of the Golden Vine Winery and sports a wonderfully quaint hacienda style. They serve some wonderful dishes and there's even a drink dedicated to one of the Disneyland Resort's beloved feral cats!
