Hello Pamela! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
My Disney Experience has certainly enhanced the way we plan and manage our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. From
Online Check-In, to
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, to viewing our
Disney vacation photos, we can access so much information right in the palms of our hands.
In many (but not all) cases, unused Walt Disney World theme park tickets may be reassigned by the owner to another Guest in their My Disney Experience
Family & Friends list. This can be done on the my Disney Experience website under "My Plans", or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app under "Tickets and Passes". Look for a "Reassign Ticket" option. Tickets that were purchased as part of a vacation package are already assigned to the Guests named on that reservation and cannot be reassigned.
Pamela, without knowing what type of tickets you hold in your account and how they were purchased, or how your My Disney Experience account and profiles for your father and daughter have been set up, I really can't say whether you may be experiencing a temporary glitch in reassigning your tickets or if there is another reason why they cannot be transferred.
Your best bet will be to
give the helpful My Disney Experience team a call. Dial 0800 16 90 749 (UK). They'll be able to take a look at your account and assist you with reassigning your tickets. If instead, you need to update your travel package to change which Guests are on the reservation, call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line at 0800 16 90 730 (UK).
I hope that helps! Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.
Anne Marie
