I'm trying to put a budget together for our trip in August. I've read a lot about tips on the Dining Plan but I can't seem to find an answer regarding tax. Is tax included on the Dining Plan or is it extra?

Hi Angela! Taxes on your meals purchased through the Disney Dining Plan are indeed included. Any purchases made outside of the Dining Plan allocation however, such as alcoholic or specialty drinks, are subject to tax. If you are a party of six or more, an 18% gratuity will be added to your bill. If not, you will receive a bill that simply lists your items, and includes any additional charges and recommended gratuity. I love the simplicity and convenience of the dining plan!

Hope this helps Angela! Wishing you a magical vacation!
