    I’m trying to purchase new magic bands as we are going to Disney next month and need new bands. It keeps directing me to the ‘My Magic Bands and Cards’ area but when I go there, there is no option to purchase new bands.

    Welcome to planDisney, we are a panel of Guests with a wealth of Disney knowledge and Disney travel experience which we love sharing with our Fellow Guests and especially a Fellow Virginian. Disney MagicBands are a convenient way for Guests to access their Walt Disney World tickets, gain access to queues such as Star Wars: Rise of Resistance, sync Disney PhotoPass photos from photographers and ride photos and just simply make life hands-free as you enjoy your day at Walt Disney World. Guests staying at the Disney Resorts Collection hotel can, also, use their MagicBand to unlock their Resort room and have charging privileges throughout their stay. A unique PIN, by you, will be assigned for purchases and required at the time of payment and all charges will show on your room bill. 

    With so many colors and designs, Disney MagicBands can reflect each Guests true DisneySide. I have quite a few and depending on the season, mood, or what I am wearing for the day my MagicBand is sure to coordinate perfectly. Taking into account shipping times and your arrival date, Disney MagicBands can easily be purchased on the shopDisney site. But if you do not have time and for a bigger variety, I suggest many of the onsite Walt Disney World Resort shops. Guests can easily wait until their arrival to choose their Disney MagicBand. Once purchased, Guests can easily link and assign them to Guests through their My Disney Experience in just minutes. Disney MagicBands are nontransferable so make sure you choose wisely. 

    And until you find your Practically Perfect Disney MagicBand, Guests can receive a hard copy ticket called a Key To The World Card which is used exactly the same way. Guests can be assigned one by visiting the Front Desk of their Walt Disney World Resort or any Guest Relations/Ticket Counter located outside of all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
