    I'm trying to plan a trip with my family, and I'm wanting to stay at the resorts. Is there anyway to get off the resorts to do some shopping at malls or places like that, or are we strictly to stay at the resort if we don't drive/have a car?

    Hi Amanda,

    You are not stuck anywhere when you are at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

    One place you could easily get to is Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island.  Here you will find shops, restaurants and even a movie theater.  Simply hop on the bus at your resort and you will be taken there and back.

    If you would like to visit something else, your hotel could give you a number for a taxi to take you shopping in the area.
