Welcome to planDisney, Victoria! What a pleasure to receive your question and have a chance to share some advice as you continue planning your next visit to Disneyland Resort!
Oh Bother! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble securing your theme park reservations for your January trip. I usually like to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar in my own vacation planning process, and I just took a peek to see what January is looking like. From what I can see, all dates have some availability at the moment that I'm writing you this response. However, availability can change quickly, so it's wise to confirm those
park reservations as soon as you can!
I do have a couple of thoughts for you, so let's see if we can troubleshoot this and get you ready for all the magic awaiting you at Disneyland Resort! First, if you have already purchased your
tickets on the official Disneyland Resort website, it is very possible that you chose your dates and secured your park reservations in the same set of steps at the time of purchase. You can check this by logging into your Disneyland account and clicking the "
My Plans" section. If your tickets are already linked to your account, you should be able to view any currently held theme park reservations for those tickets. If you haven't yet linked tickets, you can use the "
Link Tickets" page, and then any valid theme park reservations will show up in "My Plans." Once you see them there, you'll be good to go!
By chance, did you select a
1-Day ticket? If so, these are dated theme park tickets that are tied to a set of blockout dates. If you are hoping to visit on a date that was blocked out on your original ticket Tier, then the system will prevent you from being able to secure a park reservation for a blocked out date. In this case, you would need to call
Guest Services to upgrade the ticket to a Tier that corresponds with your intended visit date.
The last thing that I can possibly think of, Victoria, is the age-old advice of refreshing the page! I know it sounds silly, but I too, have seen some strange internet glitches and sometimes the Reservation Availability page just needs to reload to fully function. You might also consider trying a new browser window.
I'm hoping there is a simple solution out there for you, Victoria! If you still need technical assistance with your theme park reservations, please feel welcome to call
Guest Services and speak with a Cast Member. Please don't hesitate to reach back out to any of us here at
planDisney, too! We'd love to see you again and share any other recommendations to make your Disneyland Resort visit extra magical.
Wishing you unforgettable memories with your loved ones!
