Welcome, Domineeke, to planDisney! I just
had to answer your question because
my first time flying was to the Walt Disney World Resort...and the first time visiting the resort is so very special.
Luckily, all you need to know about the theme parks and what they offer can be found on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Attraction descriptions, height requirements, and so much more are right at your fingertips. Let me point out a few handy resources to get you started.
- Magic Kingdom Park is where fantasy, today, and tomorrow reign. It's a classic and a must-visit. Keep an eye out for delightful details. Adventureland captures the spirit of the tropics, evoking thoughts of pineapples and swaying palms, while the rich mahogany tones of Liberty Square transport you back to Colonial America. Toward the bottom of this page, just below the interactive map, you can download a Guide Map that will give you a great overview of the park's layout and where to find all that's offered. A similar map is currently provided in the same location on all pages for the theme parks.
- EPCOT is where four distinct neighborhoods celebrate the world. If you're visiting during a festival, be sure to check out what additional magic it brings to the park!
- Disney's Hollywood Studios is where thrill-seekers will find their excitement, and you can live out your very own Star Wars story.
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is where your imagination and real-life wonder collide. It's more than a zoo, more than a theme park, and all inspirational.
- The water parks are great for when you like your thrills to have a bit (or a lot) of splash.
- Dining, where you can explore the restaurants and their menus. Be sure to use the filters at the top of the page to find the perfect experiences for your travel party.
- Attractions and Entertainment is another very helpful resource where you can utilize filters to find the best fit for you!
- The planDisney Podcast, especially the First Timers at Walt Disney World episode, will help you with useful tips and information. And if you're traveling with young ones, you'll want to check out the Walt Disney World Resort with Little Ones episode.
- Our planDisney website. Not only can you ask questions specific to you, but you can search our database for thousands of answers to your burning Disney vacation questions.
