I'm trying to plan a cruise for my family

    Ahoy!

Thanks for sailing by planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you make their Disney vacation dreams come true. Planning Disney Cruise Line cruises for my family is one of my favorite pastimes. While we might not set sail on all of them, a girl can dream, right? After all, a dream is a wish your heart makes.  Plus, all my searching, planning, and dreaming helps me help other people plan their cruises. People like you!

When I start planning or dreaming up a cruise with Disney Cruise Line, I usually decide upon a starting point. It could be a date range that my family can travel, a specific destination we would like to visit, or even a Departure Port that would be convenient for us. Sometimes, a combination of all three. I will then go to the Disney Cruise Line website and begin my search by adding the criteria for the search. Then I click “View Dates.” This will turn up a list of the cruises with Disney Cruise Line that meet your search criteria. You can add additional criteria to your search, such as themed or holiday cruises, how many nights you would like to cruise, and what ship you would like to sail on. Once you have populated your list of options, you can go through each sailing to see the ones that best fit what you want from your cruise vacation.

After you have narrowed down your options, you can dive deeper into the cruises you are considering. Check into the itineraries, port adventures available, and restaurant and features of the different ships. When I was planning my family’s most recent cruise with Disney Cruise Line, we found ourselves torn between two similar sailings. We looked closer at the features of the two ships and decided to sail on the Disney Magic because our daughter loves Tangled, so Rapunzel’s Royal Table and Tangled: The Musical tipped the scales for us.

No matter what cruise you decide on, I know you will have a magical time on a Disney Cruise Line cruise. As you get deeper into your planning process, remember that we are here at planDisney. You can always bring any other questions you have or ask us for tips and suggestions. We love to help and want you to experience the most magical Disney vacation possible.

    Happy Planning!
