Hi Ryan!
Welcome fellow Floridian to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Don’t you LOVE living in the same state as the Mouse? Sometimes I pinch myself that I am so close to the most
Magical Place on Earth!
I completely understand wanting to minimize walking with the littles. I have spent the last six years with strollers and kiddos in tow, and it can be tiring! But, there are a couple of ways to minimize the walking and make everyone’s life easier!
My first tip is when you come up Main Street, U.S.A., instead of heading right to follow the crowd, turn left at the hub into Adventureland. We are conditioned here in the States to go right, so think outside the box and head left! Did you know that the
My Disney Experience App gives you live directions to anywhere you want to go on property? I love to plug in and find the shortest distance between attractions. Once you stop to get a
DOLE WHIP at Aloha Isle (make sure to use the App and order ahead), it is a quick jaunt over to Frontierland, two minutes to be exact!
After your adventures in Frontierland, take a break on Tom Sawyer Island and let the babes run wild! When they are all tuckered out, take a five-minute stroll to Fantasyland, and let go on Peter Pan’s Flight. Tomorrowland is a four-minute walk away, where all of you can blast away at Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin!
I find that if you have a plan before you enter the parks, things tend to go a bit more smoothly. But as you know, the littles often have their own agenda. Never fear, because that’s when the MAGIC happens!
Wishing you little and big adventures!
Rayna
