I'm trying to minimise the amount of cash I need to exchange and have assigned a credit card to my magic band. When I add tips after a dining plan meal are all the tips collated into one bill that you get on checking out?

    Hello Jennifer,

Guests, staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, have the option to assign a credit card to their MagicBand for charging privileges. Upon arrival a Cast Member will ask if this is an option you would like, if so, you as the Guest will then select a PIN code for your individual MagicBand. When making any kind of monetary purchase, a Cast Member will ask you to touch your MagicBand to a sensor called a touch point and you will then be asked to enter your PIN to continue with your purchase.

For Guests using the Disney Dining Plan, tips can be paid via the MagicBand. At the end of the Guests stay an itemized list can and will be available to Guests. Or if you prefer, to check throughout your stay what you have accumulated, simply head to your Resort's Front Desk and ask for an itemized list.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
