    I’m trying to make lunch reservations for the Blue Bayou but the app is not allowing me to. How do I make reservations?

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear you will be Returning to a Land of Magic soon, and can't wait for you to experience The Happiest Place on Earth!

    Just thinking about a meal at Blue Bayou Restaurant makes my mouth water! With its dreamy setting overlooking Pirates of the Caribbean and its delicious New Orleans-inspired cuisine, I can see why you're hoping to find a reservation to enjoy it! Disney announced its reopening in May and Guests began making reservations on May 18th. Since dining reservations are available 60 days in advance and this restaurant is one of the most popular places to dine within the Disneyland Resort, I'm sure spots went very quickly. That doesn't mean that you should give up, though! Guests' plans change all the time, and I'd encourage you to keep checking to see if something opens up. I'd recommend checking lunch and dinner times as the extra flexibility might be just the pixie dust you need to find something!

    To make a reservation with the handy dandy Disneyland mobile app, you'll want to click the plus sign along the bottom of the home page, then choose "Check Dining Availability." Once you select your party size and the date and time you'd like to dine, you'll see any available reservations pop up. Simply click the time that works best for you, review the details of the reservation, and click "Book Now." 

    If you don't happen to secure a reservation, though, you could still try a couple of things. First, you could stop by the check-in stand to kindly ask if they have any last-minute availability. You could also keep an eye on the walk-up list within the Disneyland mobile app to see if anything pops up. If you don't have the chance to dine at Blue Bayou Restaurant on this trip, I'm sure you'll find something scrumptious and special to enjoy!
