I’m trying to link dining reservations made on my wife’s Disney app to my own. When I input the confirmation number and her last name, it tells me it is already linked to her account. I know! I want it to appear in my plans too.

Hello, Laurier, and welcome to planDisney!

We appreciate you bringing your question to us here and I'm excited for you and your wife to experience the Disneyland Resort very soon! If you both already have your dining reservations set, it sounds like you're fairly well prepared. Kudos!

I'm sorry you've been having issues with the UI of the Disneyland Mobile App and the Disneyland website. I'm afraid that you've run into a limiting feature of these two items because, at this current time, dining reservations cannot be linked to more than one Disney account. Therefore, only the individual who made the dining reservation will be able to view them under "Future Plans." I realize that might be inconvenient for a party who would like to view their itinerary in the same place. My best advice would be to share a calendar app in which you could send out an invite to each party member or capture a screenshot of the dining reservation to keep on hand for yourself.

I hope that the two of you are excited for your upcoming trip! If you are in Adventureland, one of my favorite new attractions is the Adventureland Treehouse, so be sure to take some time to climb up its branches for a great view of the Park!

Fun Fact: The Water Wheel makes a welcome return to the Treehouse, as it was a primary feature when the attraction was the Swiss Family Treehouse. As stated by Imagineer Kim Irvine, the original water wheel from the 1962 attraction was stored in the Disney Archives in pieces, so they made molds from the old pieces to recreate the original wheel. The attraction's backstory is that the Water Wheel supplies the water which runs the magical inventions that power the Treehouse!

Laurier, I hope that you and your wife have a magical trip to the Disneyland Resort and please let us know if you have any more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
