Hi I'm trying to make a food budget - 2 adults 1 10 y/o son. Is $200/day enough? Planning table service dinners, we love trying new foods. Dad wants to eat around the world @ Ep but I hear there is great food everywhere, suggestions please. Thanks

    Hi Angela!

There is so much magic to experience at the Walt Disney World Resort, but you definitely don't want to miss the incredible food!  My husband and I love trying new foods and having new dining experiences, so we always try to budget for a few of those!  On our last trip, we spent roughly $400 total on food for a six-night stay.  That being said, we only ate two table service meals--one breakfast and one dinner.  We generally enjoy eating lighter at the parks so we can try more things!

If you want to have a table service dinner every night, I would plan to spend at least $50 per person on that meal, just to be safe.  Obviously, that can change depending on what you order and whether or not you add drinks to your meals.  Also, character meals, family style meals, buffets, and dinner shows may be more expensive, but that will balance out with your classic table service dinners.

One of my favorite ways to experience many of the incredible foods that the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer is "eating around the world" at Epcot.  You can try so many different things and share each one!  It is economical, fun, and leaves you feeling satisfied without being overly stuffed!

Make sure you check out all of the dining options throughout the Walt Disney World Resort!  You can often see prices on the menus, and you can see price ranges for all of the restaurants to give you an idea of what to expect before you arrive.  Also, check out the Disney Dining Plan.  Depending on how much you plan to eat, this may be a really great fit for you!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
