Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    I'm trying to find something for my 8year old and me to do when my husband and boys go to a baseball game. Can you give me some ideas. We will be there at the end of march. It will be the day we arrive.

    Hi Deborah,

    I assume that your 8 year old is a girl. If so, the classic thing to do would be to visit the Bobbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where she could have a princess makeover. There are two locations, in the Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney. If you don't want to use a park admission, then the Downtown Disney branch is your best bet. You could also take her for a real spa treatment at the Saratoga Spring resort spa. And of course the shopping at Downtown Disney is fantastic.

    Another nice option would be mini golf, or a trip to a water park. If you want to take it easy, you could just hang out at the pool at your hotel.
