Hi Katie!
Welcome to planDisney!
The stroller that you’re looking at sounds perfect to me! The
current stroller guidelines state that a stroller cannot be larger than 31 inches in width and 52 inches in length. Since the stroller you’re looking at is only 22.5 inches in width and 38.25 inches in length, it fits within those guidelines.
Just make sure the stroller you’re looking at isn’t a wagon or stroller wagon, as those are currently
not allowed.
As you’re shopping for a good stroller for your Disney trip, there are some key features that I’ve found helpful (as a mom of three, we’ve been in our stroller era for a while now!).
First and foremost, make sure it’s easy to fold. You’ll need to collapse the stroller on any bus or parking lot tram transportation, as well as some boat transportation. If you have a side-by-side double stroller, you’ll need to fold it on the Skyliner, as well. So, you’ll want to be able to quickly and easily fold it up.
A stroller that has a big sun shade and a good recline is great if your little one needs to rest during the day, too. And I’m always a fan of a stroller with a brake that can be activated easily when wearing sandals.
Now let’s get into some stroller accessories! Since you’ll be at Disney World during the summer months, I highly recommend bringing a stroller fan (sometimes we have two…one facing our kiddo and one facing us!). I also like to have a stroller hook. It’s like having an extra hand! Plus adding some sort of bright stroller identifier is a must for me, so I can easily spot our stroller in the stroller parking areas around the park.
It’s good to note that Disney World does have
stroller rentals, too! The stroller rental locations can be found near the entrances at all the theme parks. If you go that route, you’ll pick up your stroller at that location when you get to the park and then drop it back off before leaving the park.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions leading up to your trip,
let us know!
