I'm trying to find the best option for my daughter's 2nd b-day and I want it to be a Disney experience...Cruise, WDWorld, Disneyland. Which would offer the most fun activities for my 2yr old. 12/31/13 BD Travel Week of her birthday. Mom, Grandma, & BD

    Ahoy, Leah!

Celebrating a birthday with Disney magic is one of my favorite things! In fact, I have had the opportunity to celebrate my past three birthdays at Aulani - A Disney Resort & Spa, the Disneyland Resort, and the Walt Disney World Resort combined with a Disney Cruise Line vacation on the gorgeous Disney Dream.

In my honest opinion, you should wait to take your little princess on a Disney Cruise Line vacation for at least one more year. That way, she is old enough to experience the Oceaneer Lab and Oceaneer Club, the kids' areas that are specifically designed for children ages 3-12.

One of my favorite Disney trips was when I took my 18 month old daughter to the Disneyland Resort. We had so much fun! Her eyes sparkled when we met the characters, and she loved the fireworks show. When we heard some live music in Downtown Disney, she toddled over to the musician and danced her little heart out - it is one of my favorite vacation memories! One of the benefits of the Disneyland Resort is also its size. Since it is smaller than the Walt Disney World Resort, it is a little more manageable with a toddler in tow.

Should you decide that the Walt Disney World Resort is for you, you might consider booking a breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway, Epcot World Showcase. Here your little princess can meet a variety of Disney Princesses while you enjoy an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast. You will get priceless memories and photos here (and the food is delicious!).

No matter where you decide to spend your daughter's 2nd birthday week, be sure to note it on your reservation. Each Disney destination will have a special birthday button that you can get for her.

I hope you have a fantastic time celebrating! Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have more questions about your Disney vacation!

    Here's to a Magical time, Tracy V.

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
