Kirsten,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
I was just going through a reorganization of my family information in advance of our Spring Break trip and had the same issue. Here is what I had to do, and what might help you out.
Go to the Walt Disney World website and
sign out of your account. After that, click on the sign in button at the top of the main page. When the pop-up sign in window appears, instead of entering your information, click on the
"Need help signing in?" option, which you will find just below the large blue
"Sign In" button.
On the next pop-up window, enter the e-mail address you suspect is correct for a given family member. If it tells you that the e-mail address is not in use and offers directions to create an account, then that means it is not the one you are looking for. Simply keep entering possible e-mail addresses for that family member until it prompts you to continue. When it recognizes an e-mail address, you have probably just discovered the answer to your mystery.
BONUS TIP #1My guess is that Disney would not just post the e-mail addresses of people on your
"My Family & Friends" page within your
My Disney Experience account, as that is personal information owned by those other people. In my case, with teenagers, it seems like I should have that available to me. But remember, it is family
and friends, so they do need to be protective of such information.
BONUS TIP #2If problems continue, you can always find Disney contacts to call at their
Help Center. In your case, you will want to call their
website support line, at
(407) 939-4357. They might be able to help. So give them a ring, and I am sure you will find your way to the magic quickly!
Good luck in your hunt for the e-mail addresses, and feel free to
write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
Have a Magical Vacation!
Doug
