I'm trying to figure out how the annual passes work. Are water parks included? If not, can I add them? Also, does the annual pass mean I can park hop? Lastly, can I get meal plans even if I buy the passes? Help! I'm so confused! Lol

Hi there, Rachel! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach back out and asking another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Becoming a Walt Disney World Passholder is the best way to experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort year-round! Guests that purchase annual passes are able to access all four theme parks and gain the ability to Park Hop between theme parks as well. Guests that are Annual Passholders are also entitled to a variety of perks such as discounts across the property and special Passholder Extras

During the initial stages of reopening at Walt Disney World Resort, Guests will not be able to purchase Annual Passes so this is important to keep in mind while continuing to make your plans! Previous to this last year, there were multiple tiers of Annual Passes that granted Guests different levels of access. For example, the Platinum Annual Pass granted Guests entry into all four theme parks and had no blackout dates while the Platinum Plus Annual Pass entitled Guests to all of the benefits of the Platinum Annual Pass while also granting entry into the two water parks, Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, and ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. So, my recommendation would be to keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website for any updates regarding when Annual Passes will go on sale! This way, you can get the most up-to-date information and make your choice at that point!

Finally, the Disney Dining Plan has also been paused during the initial stages of reopening. However, in the past, Guests with Annual Passes were able to add the Disney Dining Plan to their Disney Resort hotel reservations. So, once more, I would advise you to look out for any new information that may come available in the near future regarding this option!

I hope this information assists you in planning your future visits to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
