I'm trying to make dinner reservations during the very merry Christmas celebration, I'd like to know what time the parade is so we do not miss it?

Hi, Sheila! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the highlight of the holiday season at Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many wonderful exclusive activities during this party, but my favorite is always Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Keep an eye out for the cutest toy soldiers marching down the parade route while they actually play their instruments! This parade steps off in Frontierland at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. If you are too busy enjoying other parts of the party during the first parade, know that you will not miss a thing by waiting to see the second parade. I actually prefer seeing the second parade as it is usually much easier to find a great viewing spot.

Sheila, did you know that you can enter Magic Kingdom Park with your party ticket as early as 4:00 p.m.? I would like to encourage you to look for an in-park Advance Dining Reservation before the official start of the party at 7:00 p.m. As I said earlier, there are so many wonderful activities to experience during the party and I would hate for you to miss one bit of it during dinner. Also look for one at dining locations in the Magic Kingdom Park area, but no later than 5:00 p.m. Some great ones to check out are 1900 Park Fare, Kona Cafe, 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, The Wave, and Whispering Canyon Cafe. All of these are a quick monorail or boat ride away.

One other idea I have for you is that your family grabs just a quick bite to eat for dinner so you can save room for The Holiday Wishes Dessert Premium Package. This event will leave you with visions of sugarplums and cupcakes dancing in your head!

Let us know if you have any questions about this or would like more advice for your upcoming holiday trip!
