Hi I'm trying to make a dining reserve for tomorrow land dessert party on 24th july.from now- 4 July is blue and the rest of the dates are grey and won't let me do it? I'm staying at aoa and have already made reservations for chef micky and bbb no prob.

    Hey Kate!

I understand your frustration. The same thing happened to me when I was trying to book the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party last December. When I inquired about the Advanced Dining Reservations opening well after the 180 day mark they said this typically happens in December and July when they are sorting out the details of any special holiday fireworks shows.

My advice is to keep trying... and trying... and trying. I would expect them to open any day now. Also, be aware that these reservations have been known to open in the middle of the day instead of the typical 6:00 a.m. online/7:00 a.m. via phone. When I was booking for my trip in December they opened mid-morning.

One of the ways I keep up on when these reservations open is by following the dessert party thread on the DisBoards. (http://www.disboards.com/threads/wishes-dessert-party-adr-watch-thread-3-book-180-days-now.3144695/) The members of this thread are great about posting updates of when dates open.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions about the dessert party or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing your *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
