I’m trying to make dining reservations through my Disney experience. Because I have a party of 7, I realize I need to make two separate reservations for smaller numbers. But once I make a reservation for 3, it won’t allow me to make another reservation.

    Hi Amy,

Welcome to planDisney! One of my favorite aspects of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is all of the fantastic food, so I'm happy to hear that you're planning now for all of the delicious bites and beverages you want to enjoy!

With five Mouseketeers and an immediate family of seven, I'm happy to share that I was recently able to make several dining reservations for my entire crew to dine together. If you're not able to find availability for a party of seven at the restaurants where you'd like to dine, though, looking for two smaller parties around the same time is definitely the next best plan. One Guest can't hold two reservations at the same time, so you'll simply want to ask another adult in your party to make a dining reservation at the same time. The great news is that once you're connected via the Family & Friends list within My Disney Experience, you'll be able to see each other's plans and experience all of the magic and fun together!

If you do end up with two smaller parties, you'll just want to let the Cast Member know when you arrive that you're traveling together and would like to be seated together or near each other. While they can't guarantee that they can make that happen, they'll do their best!

Thanks so much for bringing your question to us here at planDisney, Amy, and I'm sending pixie dust that you find the perfect dining reservations for your upcoming trip. I hope that you and your entire crew have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation together this holiday season!
