I'm trying to make some decorations for our stateroom doors. Can anyone tell me the size of the portholes that have the room number on the door?

    Ahoy Dotti!
It is wonderful to hEAR from you again! Decorating our Disney Cruise Line stateroom door is one of my family's favorite cruise traditions! We enjoy looking at the creative designs done by our fellow cruisers and being able to easily spot our stateroom door in the hallway. A few years ago, I started making Mickey head wreaths out of scrapbook paper to go around the porthole so I know the porthole measures around seven and 1/2 inches in diameter. I made the inner circle of my wreath have a diameter of nine inches, so it fits just perfectly around the porthole! If you haven't already, be sure to familiarize yourself with the stateroom decoration guidelines-adhesive of any kind including tape and gel is strictly prohibited. (Guests who damage their stateroom door will be fined.) I have found the round circular magnets to hold the best. I also laminate my decorations so they will travel well and last longer. I use them to decorate the door going into my house from the garage so we can enjoy them year round!
Thank you again for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel for your cruise questions! We are so happy to steer you in the right direction.
    Have a magical day!
