I'm trying to decide on when I should plan my next vacation. It needs to be when school is out, but I don't want it to be too busy of a time of year. Do you have a recommendation?

    Hi Brooke!

The timing of your Walt Disney World vacation is a tough decision because balancing school schedules, time of year, weather, crowds and special events all come into play.

The absolute best time of year to visit is September because the crowds are low, the weather is great and if you time it right, you can catch Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

However, this time of year is also when most kids go back to school, so it may be difficult to compete with school and sports schedules. The weekend of Labor Day is great and you can time it to where your child will only miss a few days of school.

School schedules vary, so try scheduling your vacation at the very beginning or very end of your childs summer vacation depending on if his/her school gets out early or late. Some schools get out in late May, and this can be a great time of year to visit.

I hope you have a magical visit!

    Magically,
    Stacy
