I'm trying to take my daughter to Disneyland for her 5th birthday. This will be her first time going. A friend told me that she gets in free on her birthday? Is this true?Do they offer anything special for her birthday?

    Hi Celina!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. First and foremost, Happy Birthday to your little princess and I hope she has a magical day celebrating at Disneyland Park!

I'm sorry that your friend had incorrect information, but Guests still must pay for admission into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park even on their birthdays. There are still some great little touches of magic for your little one to experience! First I must recommend you stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park of the Chamber of Commerce at Disney California Adventure Park and let them know you are celebrating a big day! They'll give your daughter a birthday button with her name on it and you can even get one to say your celebrating your big girl turning 5! You can also order a Celebration Cake ahead of time if you'd like to make her birthday lunch or dinner that much sweeter.

I hope your daughter has the best birthday at the Happiest Place on Earth! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
