I'm trying to convince my DH to take our kids with us for our 10 year anniversary in June as well as DD's 7th bday. As we always go in March, I'm wondering what the crowd levels are like the first two weeks in June.

Hi Jennifer! A Walt Disney World vacation would definitely be a magical way to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary!

Since many school-age children have Spring Breaks in March, that month can be a busy one in the Disney parks. Those same kids are generally still in school during early June, which often makes the attendance levels in the parks a little lower than March. For the lowest crowds, plan to visit Disney World during the first week of June. Park attendance levels at Disney are fairly moderate during the first week of June, but begin to increase as the month progresses. Hollywood Studios can be busy on the weekends in early June when many guests flock to Star Wars weekends in the park.

I visited in late June this year, and even though the parks were busy, I found the crowds quite manageable. The key is to arrive at the parks each day before they open and to tackle your most desired attractions first.

We'd love to help you plan a special anniversary and birthday trip! Just visit us again here at the Moms Panel with your questions!
