I'm trying to budget for the cruise attendants tips. Is there a tip included in the room already? And what is a reasonable tip for room attendants?

    Hi Mary!
I'm so glad you found the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask your questions about cruising!  There are recommended amounts for tipping on the Disney Cruise Line website.  Generally, it is $12 per person per night of your cruise, divided up among the four attendants caring for your needs.  The gratuities will automatically be charged to your stateroom once you are onboard, or you can arrange to prepay them up to three days prior to leaving on your cruise.  You can always go to Guest Services to adjust the amounts as well.
On the final night of your cruise, you will receive envelopes for your stateroom host, your server, your assistant server, and your head server.  You will also receive receipts to put into their envelopes.  At that time, if you wish to add an additional gratuity, you can put it into the envelope.  We also typically bring a bag of "treats" for each of these people (usually candy and gum, and NOT necessary).  You can bring the envelopes to your final dinner or to breakfast on your disembarkation morning.
We have had the most amazing service on all eleven of our Disney Cruises!
Have a wonderful cruise and please ask any other questions here.
    Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
