Welcome to planDisney, BreAuna! There’s something truly special about having a Disneyland Resort vacation in the works. Knowing that magic is on the horizon makes even the everyday feel a little lighter, doesn’t it? Early spring is one of my favorite times to visit. The weather is perfect, flowers are in bloom, and the parks feel alive with extra energy.
Vacation packages and
hotel rates for 2026 are typically released around August 2025. While no specific date has been announced, this timeline can shift, so I recommend keeping a close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. It’s your best source for official announcements about vacation packages, seasonal offerings, and other magical extras.
Theme park tickets and
park reservations can typically be made up to 180 days in advance, though the window sometimes changes. Since you’re planning for March 2026, starting your checks around September will put you in a great position. The Theme Park Tickets page on the Disneyland website is the most reliable source for updates. Booking early not only provides peace of mind but also lets you fully enjoy the fresh blooms around the Partners Statue and the vibrant springtime energy throughout the resort.
And there’s even more magic in store: Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration will still be going strong! I visited several times over the summer, and the entire resort positively radiates happiness. Watching Paint the Night return, with my whole family singing along to “When Can We Do This Again?” was unforgettable. Plus, the Tapestry of Happiness projections on the “it’s a small world” façade have quickly become one of my favorite celebratory touches.
As you plan your park days, I highly recommend exploring the Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This helpful tool lets you reserve return times for select attractions, helping you tackle must-dos like Space Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, and Haunted Mansion without spending extra time in standby queues. You can purchase a Multi Pass in advance or on the day of your visit, then start reserving attractions right from the Disneyland app once you’ve entered the park.
BreAuna, I hope this helps you spring into action as you plan your 2026 Disneyland adventure. If you have more questions or want help fine-tuning your itinerary, we’d love to welcome you back to planDisney.
Wishing you a visit full of happiness, springtime charm, and unforgettable moments,
David
