Ahoy there, Amber!
Thank you for sending in your question to planDisney! You are getting close to your Disney Cruise Line vacation if your
booking window has opened for
Port Adventure selection. How exciting!
It sounds like there may not be enough availability for your entire crew on the excursion you're trying to book for your cruise, as you should be able to select all the members of your stateroom. I have a few suggestions to try to secure this before it's time to head ashore. First, you can call
Disney Cruise Line at 1(800) 951-3532 to speak with an agent and make sure there isn't a glitch on their end. They are available to help Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, on Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm EST. Have your reservation number and the port adventure information ready when you call. If the adventure is full, I recommend checking the Disney Cruise Line website often, especially about a week before you set sail. The tour operator could decide to add more spots, or Guests' plans could change. Plans can be cancelled online up to three days before departure, so checking frequently could pay off. If you don't have any luck with either of those suggestions, please visit the Port Adventure desk once onboard to see if they have any options to add your children to the reservation. While you check the
Disney Cruise Line website for availability, keep an eye out for other adventures that may interest your crew. You never know when new Port Adventures will be added. I always like to have a list of two or three options in case some are sold out.
Amber, no matter what you choose to do, I know your family will make many magical memories both onboard and when venturing ashore. One of the best parts of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is experiencing new and exciting
activities together. I hope you'll use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to favorite things to do as a family throughout the vacation. There will be a variety of games, shows, trivia, and character interactions available on the app. You'll also find important information like when the soft-serve ice cream opens and closes each day! There's nothing wrong with a late morning ice cream cone or a late-night sweet treat to end a vacation day.
Good luck in securing your port adventure, Amber. We hope you'll let us know if you have any other questions about your upcoming voyage.
