    Hello I'm trying to book a Disney vacation for around Christmas and was wondering about when Disney will have deals up for winter vacations, which hotels would be open and affordable, and meal plan prices.

    Hi Kimberly and welcome to planDisney! I am right there with you, waiting for those Special Offers for the Holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    I suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. I have been checking every day, because I am waiting to book a family weekend trip for December. Remember that you can always book your stay at a Disney Resort Collection hotel and modify your reservation to add a Special Offer when it becomes available! You can also check the blog for a mention about the Disney Dining Plans. They are not available right now, but that could always change.

    I find that Resort hotels in the “moderate” category are still a fair price for a family vacation. The themes at these hotels are beautiful and quite a few of them have access to the Disney Skyliner. It’s a great new way to help guests get to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
