    I’m trying to book a dessert package for world of color in October. The app does not let me select my dates. It appears to either be a) not open yet or b) completely sold out. Can you tell me what is going on?

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks for submitting your question to us! It looks like you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort right in the middle of Halloween Time, which is my favorite time of year to go because I love all the spooky decorations that get put up for the season.

    I'm sorry that you haven't been able to book a World of Color Dessert Party, Lauren. According to the Daily Schedule, World of Color - ONE will be closed for refurbishment beginning on September 9, 2024 and it will last into October. No end date has been announced for this refurbishment cycle yet, so we don't know exactly when the nighttime spectacular will be up and running. 

    I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news for you. I'm happy to report, though, that there's plenty of nighttime entertainment over at Disneyland Park. Halloween Screams and Fantasmic! (on select nights) are both scheduled to be shown at that time. The full Entertainment Schedule is updated 6 weeks in advance, so I would recommend making sure when your visit gets a little closer.
