I’m trying to add my wife to friends and family. I added her name and her email. When she gets the email invitation it states welcome (my name), not hers. When she signs into her account then it adds my name not hers so now it would show my name twice.

    Hiya, Nicholas! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you're just days away from your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort! You're visiting at a wonderful time of year with so much to see and do. I hope you're getting excited to experience the magic that awaits you around every corner, such as The World's Most Magical Celebration and the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

Nicholas, I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble connecting your wife to your Family & Friends List. As my friend Pumbaa says, "Hakuna Matata!" No worries! I'm here to help you troubleshoot this situation and see if we can get you back on the right track.

For me, I tend to have the most success when adding someone to my Family & Friends List by importing hotel reservation information. To do this, you would log into your account online, hover your mouse over My Disney Experience and click My Family & Friends. Scroll down and click Add a Guest. From here, click Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation. As long as your wife is also listed on your reservation, you'll be able to enter the hotel confirmation number and her last name, pulling up her contact information.

If that doesn't work, you could also have her try to add you to her Family & Friends list from her account. Since you mentioned she has tried signing in, I'm assuming she has also made her own My Disney Experience account. If she does have her own My Disney Experience account, she'll want to make sure she has added the hotel confirmation number to the Resort Hotel section in My Plans. After checking this information, she could try to add you to her account the same way: adding your hotel confirmation number and your last name, then adding your profile to her Family & Friends List

I hope these suggestions helped you to connect to your wife through My Disney Experience, but just in case my magic wand wasn't able to reach that far, I have one last option for you! You can call the Cast Members who help with My Disney Experience by calling (407) 939-4357. Once connected to the main menu, you'll ask for "Technical Support." These Cast Members are absolutely wonderful and will be happy to help you with making sure you and your wife are connected through your Family & Friends List!

Also, don't forget to make your Theme Park Reservations and check out all the features the My Disney Experience app offers (such as the ability to mobile order food!). If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to me. Remember, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
