Hi Rehana,
Walt Disney World has done a fabulous job of making its theme parks accessible to everyone. There is a great
online guide to all the services offered to guests who are blind that I think you and your husband will find incredibly helpful. They offer audio guides, braille guidebooks, and even tactile maps. All of these services are included in your ticket price. Disney World rides are also highly accessible and offer a sensory experience for both of you. I recommend taking a look at the available options because I think you will find there are several rides you both can enjoy!
There are no discounted tickets available for people with registered disabilities. Disney World has worked hard to make their theme parks an experience for everyone and I think that will be evident when you visit. There are some great deals on
tickets for UK residents currently available to purchase! There are discounted 7-day or 14-day tickets available to purchase for UK residents ahead of your visit.
If you are looking to visit for only 1 day then your best option would be to purchase tickets while you are in Orlando. If you will be there for several nights, I would visit the
Disney Springs Welcome Center to purchase tickets for the day you want to visit early in your trip to ensure availability. This Welcome Center will also be able to answer any questions you still have about navigating the theme parks. While you are there picking up tickets, don't forget to check out some of the fabulous restaurants and shopping available at Disney Springs. It is one of my favorite places to hang out in Orlando.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
