Hi Susan!
Are you ready for a ‘Gram-worthy vacation?? I have a fifteen-year-old and a seventeen-year-old, and we have been taking them to the Parks since they were
tweens, so I have a tip or two under my belt!
First off - it’s all about the thrills! Challenge your kiddos to do all the “Mountains” in the Parks. Head to
Space Mountain,
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park, and then escape the Yeti at
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
When you are at Animal Kingdom Park, head to my favorite Instagram-worthy spot -
Pandora - The World of Avatar. I have a picture on Insta at the purple #MossWall outside of
Avatar Flight of Passage! Honestly, any selfie in this Park is fantastic, from the “You Are Most Beautiful” wall in Harambe Market to Pandora - The World of Avatar at night when everything glows! Before you leave, grab a
Night Blossom at Pongu Pongu. The delicious limeade even comes with glowing Unadelta Seed - guaranteed to make it on Instagram!
Speaking of
Insta-worthy food, the Tangled Pancakes are both delicious and photographable! The
Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at
Trattoria al Forno will also give your kiddos the chance to interact with my favorite Disney rascal, Flynn Rider as well as Ariel, Prince Eric, and Rapunzel. Also, an absolute MUST while at Walt Disney World is a Mickey Pretzel pic in front of any of the famous
#Disneywalls! My two favorites are the #ToothPasteWall right outside of
The Seas with Nemo & Friends, or the #PopsicleWall on the way out of
Toy Story Mania!
If you have any spare time left, no teen trip should be without a visit to
Disney Springs. The shopping is perfection, the food choices are plenty, and you all can enjoy a friendly virtual-reality standoff at
The Void: Step Beyond Reality!
Susan, have fun
playing in the Parks!
