I'm traveling to Walt Disney World on Saturday May 23rd with my 5-year-old son. What can I specifically bring for snacks and drinks. In addition, what kind of backpack and cooler I can bring? Is there a limit on any of these items?

    Hi Lakechia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Guests are allowed to bring outside drinks and food that does not require heating into Disney theme parks. Disney requests that you inform a Security Cast Member of any food items when you are entering the park. My wife and I always pack snacks for our children when we visit, and we have never encountered any problems.

In regards to backpacks or coolers, as long as they are within the size limit (no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high for suitcases, coolers or backpacks), you can carry it in to the parks. For a list of types of personal items not permitted inside the theme parks, click here.

Please let us know if we can assist you with any other questions regarding your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.

    Have a magical day!
