ChEARs Megan!
Thanks for strolling by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have just left what I call my "sherpa" stage of motherhood. My kiddos are 21 months apart, so until recently, we brought
all.the.things into the Parks, including
a double stroller!
My
daughter is seven, and until last summer (right as she turned seven), we would bring an umbrella stroller along with the double stroller for her
twin brothers. We found that she did great for most of the day, but towards the end (and especially on her way back to the car), she would lag a bit, and then
a magical day would turn just a bit less magical! Now that
the boys are almost six, we tend to rent one double stroller as we arrive, and all three comfortably fit inside or take turns, and it suits our needs perfectly!
If you are staying at one of the
Walt Disney World Resort hotels, I would suggest two umbrella strollers so that you don't have to carry tired kiddos from the
complimentary transportation to your room at the end of the day. If you are planning on staying off-property or using your car, a Double Stroller rental should be perfect!
Rental locations are right inside the Main Gates of the four Theme Parks, and at Sundries at Disney Springs (right next to the
Coca-Cola Store). If you are going to be in the Parks for more than a day, I would suggest a Length of Stay Rental. You can pre-pay for the number of days that you need the stroller and pay less than you would if you rented each day. All you need is to show your receipt at each rental location to get your stroller for the day!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. See ya' real soon!
