Anchors aweigh, Jade!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your great question! I know you are excited to be counting down the days till your Disney Cruise Line vacation begins, so let's get your transportation questions answered!
Disney Cruise Line Ground Transfers depart Orlando International Airport approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the airport, claim your luggage at baggage claim and proceed to Side B, Level 1 – Ground Transportation, where you will find Disney Ground Transporation. Check in with the Disney Cruise Line representative for the next available transfer. You can check in as early as 8:30 a.m. and the first transfer is around 10:20 a.m., with the last transfer of the day usually around 2:00 p.m. Once you board the bus, your ride to the port is about one hour. One of my favorite moments is when I catch the first glimpse of the ship as you cross the bridge to the port. I can't wait for you to experience it, too!
Jade, remember to place your
Disney Cruise Line luggage tags on your bags after you claim them at the airport and before you board the ground transfer. Don't forget to pack your boarding documents such as your government-issued identification and
Port Arrival Form in your carry-on bag. You might also want to throw a bathing suit, water bottle, sunscreen, and any medications, electronics or valuables in your carry-on.
I hope this helps make your transportation decision a smooth one, Jade. I recommend
calling (800) 951-3532 as soon as you decide since space may be limited. Please let us know if you have other questions; we are here to help!
Wishing you magical memories,
Shannon
