Hi Camila,
My family has taken several multi-generational trips to Disney World! It is one of my favorite places to travel with the whole family because there is so much to do for everyone. You have a few
options when picking which tickets work best for your family and it will depend on how you want to vacation. There is a 1 Park Per Day ticket, the Park Hopper Option, and the Park Hopper Plus Option.
Since you will only be at Disney World for 3 days, if you want to visit all 4 of Disney World's theme parks you will need to go with the
Park Hopper Option. I highly recommend this option because each of Disney's theme parks is worth a visit! When you go to purchase your tickets make sure to select the number of days you want to visit, the date range of your trip, and then add the Park Hopper Option.
I always spend at least 1 whole day at Magic Kingdom especially when traveling with kids. Magic Kingdom has the most
rides and attractions that everyone in your party will be able to ride and enjoy! There is so much to do here that appeals to everyone that we often spend multiple days trying to ride everything. On the day you go to Magic Kingdom, I would also look at adding
Genie+ which gives you Lightning Lane access to rides throughout the day. This will help you maximize the number of rides you can go on and cut down your wait time.
When traveling with younger kids, I typically split a day between Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Hollywood Studios opens earlier in the day than EPCOT so we begin our day there and put an emphasis on riding everything in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land. Be sure to grab some lunch at Woody's Lunch Box before hopping on the
Disney Skyliner for a ride over to EPCOT in the afternoon.
The best part about hopping between these two theme parks is that the Skyliner will drop you off at the back of EPCOT directly in the World Showcase area. My kids love exploring each of the countries in the World Showcase by trying different foods and visiting the
Kidcot Fun Stops. There are also some great
family-friendly rides to explore as well.
I would plan on your third day also being a split day. I like to leave this one a little bit open for the kids to make their way back to things they feel like they missed or want to do again. I would start my day out early at
Animal Kingdom and make sure to prioritize the Kilimanjaro Safari and Avatar Flight of Passage. We are typically finished exploring Animal Kingdom by mid-day and then head back to ride our favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom a second time!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
