Hi Dennis,
I definitely think it sounds like you're in the running for Parent and
Grandparent of the Year! I love that you'd like to provide such a special experience for your Mouseketeers. Vacationing together at the Walt Disney World Resort will not only be so much FUN, but you'll all make memories to cherish for years to come.
The
theme park tickets that are currently for sale are either purchased with a specific start date in mind or have the Flexible Date Option added, which allows you the flexibility to use your tickets any time you'd like within a 14-day period. Tickets are only currently available with start dates of December 31, 2019 or earlier. Even tickets purchased with the Flexible Date Option need to be used for the first time on or before December 31, 2019, so if you're thinking of traveling a year or two from now, I'd recommend waiting to purchase your tickets. The good news is that even if you do buy tickets now and end up visiting later, you may still apply the value of any unused, expired tickets to new tickets of the same or higher price. In my opinion, though, it's just easier to wait until you know for sure when you'll be going to purchase your tickets. In the meantime, I'd recommend
dreaming about where you'll stay and what you'll do during your Disney vacation and looking into purchasing
Disney Gift Cards, which may be applied to your trip at a later date.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dennis, and please let us know how else we can help as you turn your entire family's Disney wishes into dreams come true! I'm so excited for you all, and hope that you have a truly magical vacation together!
Missy
