    I'm thinking about staying at Grand Floridian. Is it worth the extra expense for a deluxe resort?

    I recently stayed at the Grand Floridian and I was blown away by the resorts beauty, ambiance and amenities. I've stayed at Value, Moderate and Deluxe Resorts, so I have a wide range in which to compare, and determining "is it worth it." is a personal decision that you need to determine by weighing different factors. For example, how important is it that you are conveniently located to the parks? If you plan to take a mid-day rest, it can be particulary helpful to be on the monorail line, which Grand Floridian is. Also, if you have young children that need to get to bed early, it is great to be close to the parks so you can quickly get back to your room. You can then enjoy watching Wishes at the resort, from your balcony if you choose a room with a view of the Magic Kingdom. Grand Floridian also offers many special amenities for guests, including a fitness center and spa, which will open on December 17. If you like fine dining, then Grand Floridian is for you! You can enjoy Narcoossee's, which also has an excellent water front view of Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant. 1900 Park Fare offers a character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh, Mad Hatter, Alice and Wonderland and Mary Poppins.

    No matter where you stay, I'm sure you will have a magical vacation!
