I'm thinking of going on disney cruise line. I would like to know the stateroom service on the disney wonder. Also, our family has food allergies. Are the restraunts allergy-friendly. Also, do any of the staterooms on the wonder have kitchens?.

Welcome back, Marilyn! I'm glad you're still considering an exciting cruise with Disney Cruise Line!

Disney Cruise Line is happy to assist guests with food allergies. When you make your reservation, simply let the reservation agent (or your travel agent) know which guest has food allergies and what specific allergies those are. This information is given to your dining service team.

Disney Cruise Line features the unique rotational dining service. This means that guests rotate through each of the different restaurants on the ship throughout the sailing and their service team follows them. Guests have the luxury of knowing that their service team will be the same each night, no matter where they are assigned to eat. This is especially helpful for those with food allergies. No need to re-explain your needs each night, as your servers will be aware and ready to give you options that work around that allergy.

Disney Cruise Line does recommend that guests with food allergies stick to eating in the main dining restaurants, even for breakfast and lunch. While you are certainly free to eat by the pool, order room service, or dine at the buffet, the galleys there are smaller, so cross-contamination can be a concern. When guests eat in the main dining restaurants, the head servers there can be sure that your food allergy needs are more easily met. You will find the food on the ships to be amazing, Marilyn. Disney Cruise Line really is top notch and works to ensure that all guests enjoy a wonderful dining experience onboard.

There are no kitchens in the staterooms. The Concierge Suites do have a wet bar in addition to the cooling boxes (small refrigerators) that all staterooms have, but you will not find a full kitchen in any stateroom.

Stop back with any other questions you might have as you continue to plan, Marilyn!
