Im thinking about booking a trip from Jan 3rd-Jan8th. How crazy is it really there? Ive never been that close to a holiday. Please advise!

    Hi there, Erin!

I think the most wonderful, magical time of the year at Walt Disney World is during the Christmas holidays. There are a lot of Holiday festivities and fun, and we go despite the crowds.

You are going at the tail end of the holiday season, and the only thing scheduled at the moment to go into January is the Flurry of Fun at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You'll still be able to enjoy the Sunset Season's Greetings and Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! through January 6th.

Because a lot of the holiday activities are wrapping up, and people have work and school to get back to after the nice holiday break, I think you'll find the crowds beginning to dissipate during your stay. For a long time, the week after the holiday breaks are over has been a traditionally quieter time. That may be your experience.

I hope you get to enjoy an absolutely wonderful vacation, Erin!
