I’m thinking of booking a cruise for July 2018. I know there are spots but is it worth it now? Is the price crazy? Will I miss out on anything booking this late? Or do I wait till 2019? Please help! I’m one overwhelmed Mommy (never cruised b4).

    Welcome back, Sonia!

I know it can be overwhelming when you begin planning your very first cruise, but don't worry! Disney makes it super easy for guests, and we are also happy to help with any questions, so feel free to stop back here anytime! So much is included in your Disney Cruise cost so no need to worry about adding much extra unless you'd like to!

You are certainly not too late to book a magical adventure at sea with Disney for July of 2018! If that's the best time for you to sail, and you've found a cruise itinerary that works for your family and budget, go for it! It's not until 75 days prior to sailing for first time guests that you'll begin your online check-in which is when you'll get to choose all of those special fun extras like Port Adventures, Adult Exclusive Dining, and some specialty character experiences. So, you've got plenty of time! But, the sooner you book, the more stateroom options you'll have for your budget, so I wouldn't recommend waiting too long.

Summer sailings do tend to have higher prices than say winter or fall, but if you are going to sail in the summer no matter what, waiting for 2019 won't really make that much of a difference, and believe me, once you sail with Disney, you'll want to book another cruise too! The early 2019 itineraries were just released, but I wouldn't expect to see the summer 2019 itineraries until the early spring of next year.

Have fun choosing your cruise, Sonia, and please let us know how we can help with any other planning questions! I'm excited for you to begin this adventure!
