    Hi Moms, I'm taking my 5 yr old daughter, to DW as a birthday present in Nov. We'll be staying at the All Start Music Hotel. We both adore princesses and fairies and I want to keep the trip easy for the two of us. Can you suggest an itinerary?

    Eleanor,

    I did close to the same thing myself last year, but with two princesses instead of 2. They were 4 and 6, so right there!

    Since I don't know your exact dates of travel, I can't give you an exact suggestion by day, but if you want me to after this reply, just send another question along to me directly and I will be glad to assist. That being said, here are some planning tips;

    • Assuming a 5 day vacation, I would spend 3 days at the Magic Kingdom, a half day to possibly 1 full day at Hollywood Studios, a half day at Animal Kingdom (morning), and a half day at Epcot (evening).
    • Plan time for character meet-and-greets, especially the group princess meeting area in the Magic Kingdom (currently on Main Street USA, but soon to be in Fantasyland), and the fairy meeting area in Adventureland.
    • If you can budget for a character greeting meal, Akershus Restaurant (Epcot) will be more budget-friendly than Cinderella's Royal Table (Magic Kingdom). 1900 Park Fare will be as well, but the Cinderella-specific focus may not be what she is looking for.
    • Make sure she wears her Birthday Celebration button every day of her trip. The warm congratulations from cast members throughout the trip really makes for a great experience.
    • Budget time for the Enchanted Tales With Belle (new Fantasyland) experience. This will wow her!
    Write me back with specific travel info (dates of arrival, # of park days, if you have a park hopper, etc.) and I can line it up even more!

    Have a magical vacation!
