Hi there, Heather!
Thank you for sending another question to planDisney. I am glad my
planDisney friend Al shared some attractions that can fit three Guests in one row in Disneyland Park, and I am happy to answer a similar question about Disney California Adventure Park! I often visit Disneyland Resort by myself with my two kids, so I understand wanting to know which attractions can fit all three of you ahead of time.
As Al mentioned, make sure to check the height requirements for any attractions on the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland mobile app. On the app, select the teardrop-shaped pin at the bottom of the home screen to view the park map. Choose "Attractions" from the drop-down menu at the top, and under "Filters," you can limit the search results by "Height," "Age," "Thrill Factor," and more.
Below is information about the attractions you mentioned in your question. Keep in mind that attraction requirements are subject to change, so it is always a good idea to check the requirements again when in the theme parks.
- Mater's Junkyard Jamboree (which becomes Mater's Jingle Jamboree over the holidays!): Guests must be at least 32 inches tall, and it can usually accommodate one adult and two kids. (This attraction always makes my family laugh a lot!)
- Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters (which becomes Luigi's Joy to the Whirl over the holidays!): Guests must be at least 32 inches tall and can typically accommodate one adult and two kids.
- Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!: There are no height requirements, and I have ridden it with both of my kids in one car.
- Toy Story Midway Mania!: There are no height requirements, and it can usually accommodate one adult and two small children in my experience. There are only two Spring-Action Launchers on one side, so one Guest will not have their own.
- Goofy's Sky School: The height requirement is 42 inches, and typically only two Guests can ride next to each other. My family loves this unexpectedly intense attraction, although my kids were not tall enough to ride it until they were around five years old.
- Golden Zephyr: There are no height requirements. I have not seen three Guests sitting in the same seat, but I suggest asking the attraction Cast Member if is possible.
My kids also loved the fun, interactive experiences in Disney California Adventure Park at that age! The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail is the perfect spot to let the kids climb and explore, and the Disney Animation Building offers live interactions in Turtle Talk with Crush and a cool place to relax.
Heather, I hope your visit to Disneyland Resort is filled with laughter and joy during this most festive time of year! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Believe in Holiday Magic!
