    I'm taking a shuttle from hotel to Port Canaveral to catch Fantasy DCL. I've been told my shuttle will probably arrive around 11 at the port but I didn't get a boarding time until 1:30. What is in the area to do with 2 kids and all our luggage? Thanks

    Hi Susan!

    Thanks for another great question!  When you arrive at the Port you will be dropped off curbside and your luggage will be taken by the porters.  You will want to bring along a carry-on bag to keep your cruise documents, medications, swimsuits, sunscreen and anything else you many want for your first afternoon onboard.  The rest of your luggage will be delivered to your stateroom later in the afternoon.  After dropping your luggage, you will proceed through security and head up the elevator to the spacious DCL Terminal.  You will check-in and receive a boarding number.  Since you are arriving at 11:00, you will most likely receive a boarding number that will allow you to board earlier than 1:30.  You may have a short wait as boarding generally begins around 11:30.  My kids bring along a small bag with books, electronics, playing cards, etc. to help pass the time by.  There is also a small observation deck, a huge model of the Disney Magic, several TVs showing Disney classics, and character greetings in the waiting area.  Before you know, your number will be called, and your crew will be walking through the Golden Mickey ears to begin your magical vacation!
