Hiya, Sean, and thanks for stopping by planDisney!
You'll be happy to hear that all Disney Parks around the world are the perfect fit for Guests of all shapes and sizes. From taking on the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness (Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at
Magic Kingdom Park) to fulfilling a need for speed (Test Track at
EPCOT), my family members of varying heights and weights enjoy everything that The Most Magical Place on Earth offers.
Now, let's talk about fireworks--the best way to end a fun-filled day at the theme parks. I have had some pretty cool fireworks-viewing dining experiences around property, but here are a few options:
-California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort: This lovely spot on the 15th floor of the Disney Resorts Collection hotel is nothing short of magical. It's a table-service restaurant that is the best choice if you're celebrating something very special, like being on vacation with your loved one. You'll get a wide view of the fireworks over Cinderella Castle.
-'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort: Also, off of the Seven Seas Lagoon, you can watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from one of the tables near the windows. Or you can take your visit to the beach area. I love that the music from the show is piped into the hotel's speakers.
-Tomorrowland Terrace at Magic Kingdom Park: Besides the Fireworks Cruise that I experienced this year, eating at one of the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties is my favorite viewing spot. You'll have a combination of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts and drinks and the most magical fireworks experience.
-La Hacienda de San Angel or Rose & Crown Dining Room at EPCOT: While I've never eaten at these restaurants, the views of the EPCOT's fireworks display are some of the best at the theme park. If you like Mexican or British cuisine, these spots will be perfect for your night out.
AN EXTRA GEM: You can book an advance dining reservation up to 60 days before your visit, so because you are only a week away, you may have trouble grabbing a spot at your desired restaurant. If this happens, don't lose hope! Reservations online and in the
My Disney Experience App open up all the time, especially as you get closer to the date and other Guests cancel.
I hope that you've found this information helpful, Sean. If you have any other questions or need any clarification, please
revisit us here at planDisney. Let the countdown to your vacation begin!
Magic always,
LeAndra
