I'm taking my kids to Disney world in March for the first time. It's for their 3rd birthday and I'm just wondering if they do night time light parades every night or is it just special occasions?

    Hi Alissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Thanks for stopping by to as a question about traveling to The Most Magical Place on Earth for the very first time!   I am jumping for joy for you, what an enchanting vacation you are going to have.  Be sure to pick up your complimentary 'First Visit' buttons when you arrive at any Guest Service location.  They are sure to bring you lots of smiles and well wishes your way during your visit.

Night time at Disney is one of my favorite scenes.   The attractions take on a new look when the sun goes down and it almost feels like you are in a whole new park.  Unfortunately there is no longer a light parade at Walt Disney World.  The Main Street Electrical Parade at Magic Kingdom had its last run in October of 2016.   Don't fret, Disney has other amazing Nighttime Spectaculars for you to experience.  Happily Ever After is a essential part of every Walt Disney World visit.   Fireworks fill the sky and scenes from your favorite Disney and Pixar movies light up the castle.  It is truly not to be missed. I also suggest, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot.   This beautiful show highlights the history of the earth and the hope for humanity in the future.  It is stunning and everyone in your family will love it no matter how young or young at heart they are.

These are just a few of the Nighttime Spectaculars available.   You can find many more on the Walt Disney World website, or stop in again and ask another question.
