I’m taking a cruise the beginning of 2020 with my family, I know we need a valid I.D or license and a birth certificate, however my License has my married name and birth certificate has my maiden name, do I need to bring my marriage certificate as well?

    Ahoy, Rebecca!

It's WONDERful to hEAR from you again! We appreciate you bringing your questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and enjoy being able to assist you with your magical plans. I'm sure you can't wait for your February departure date to arrive, so that you can experience a vacation like no other

When you check-in at Disney Cruise Line's beautiful terminal at Port Canaveral, you will need to show a valid U.S. passport OR an original or copy of your state-issued birth certificate AND Government-issued photo ID. This is all the documentation you'll need to board your Disney ship at this time. You will want to make sure you keep your documentation with you in your day bag for embarkation day. A few years ago, I started carrying all our essential documents in a large polypropylene envelope with a snap closure to make sure everything stays secure. It makes it very easy to pull out at check-in and when we pass through U.S. Customs and Border Protection after disembarkation.

Rebecca, you have a magical land and sea adventure awaiting you in 2020. Thank you again for cruising by!
